Copyright and takedown requests

Baiscope publishes Sinhala subtitles written by volunteer translators. If you hold the rights to a work and believe a subtitle or a post here infringes them, tell us and we will review it and, where the notice is valid, remove it.

What to include

• The address (URL) of each page you want removed.
• The work you hold the rights to, and your relationship to it.
• Your name and a way to reach you.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and that the information in your notice is accurate.

What happens next

Your notice reaches the site's administrators as a ticket. We reply to confirm we have it, and we act on valid notices promptly — usually by removing the post or its subtitle file.
